Teletext - aText-TV Pro26.09.05
Publisher Description
Teletext from 60+ channels in 18 countries – fast, reliable, bookmarks that last
aText-TV brings teletext pages from Europe's public and commercial broadcasters
to your pocket – the app has been serving its users for 16 years. It fetches
pages directly from the broadcasters' own servers and displays them in the
traditional, fast-to-browse teletext view, where links can be tapped straight
from the page image.
FEATURES
• No ads
• 60+ channels from 18 countries – public and commercial broadcasters gathered
into one app
• Fast page and subpage browsing by swiping
• Tappable links directly on the teletext page image
• Bookmarks for your favorite pages, with quick access back to them
• Page Watch – get notified when a page you're watching updates
• Optional automatic page refresh
• Zoom and content stretch for different screen sizes and orientations
• User interface in 13 languages
• Offline reading support for previously loaded pages
• Startup channel/page setting and active-channel management
A MAJOR TECHNICAL OVERHAUL
The app has undergone a thorough technical overhaul: the code has been
rewritten with modern tools, and features such as settings, channel selection,
and page caching now run on a more reliable and durable foundation.
Because of this overhaul, old bookmarks unfortunately won't carry over
automatically into this update – we apologize for the inconvenience. The good
news is that, thanks to the overhaul, bookmarks will never be lost in future
updates again: they are now stored in a way that survives the app's ongoing
development.

version 26.08.04

Fixes:
• On Android 6 and 7 most channels (including YLE, YLE gfx, ARD, NOS, RAI, TVE, DR and Saartext) stayed black and never loaded at all. They work again. On Android 8 and newer this update changes nothing.
Note
• This is the last version that supports Android 6 and 7. The app keeps working there, but future updates will require Android 8 or newer.
version 26.08.01
posted on 2026-08-09
Fixes:
• Links on image channels (YLE gfx, RAI, DR, ORF and others) could end up in the wrong place on the page: a link near the top only responded far below it, and the ones under it not at all, until the page was reloaded. It usually happened after the app had been in the background for a while.

Zoom has been changed to 0-100% where 0% is the original size from web and 100% fills the whole page. Also small fix for Yle teletext so the first link on the sports page index works now. Also small font fixes.
